Exact Software: Organizational Impact

Exact Software’s impact in small to mid-size business is apparent from the various customer success stories available via the Exact Software web site.

One such customer is Altman Lighting Inc., a family owned and operated manufacturer of architectural and theatre lighting fixtures.[1] A champion of Exact Macola products, Altman professes that it was Macola products’ ability to automate business processes[2] that increased company productivity.[3]

Another supporter of Exact Macola is Stork Prints America Inc. Stork’s high ERP costs in its North American division led it to adopt Exact Software’s Macola ES, a specific solution targeted at North American mid-size companies involved in manufacturing and distribution.[4] The result was a 25% decrease in ERP costs and greater overall efficiency due to all of Stork’s General Ledger tables being consolidated into one table.[5]

ComServe Networks, leading service providers for HP, eMachines, and Gateway, is a fast expanding company that recently acquired ComServe Networks-USA.[6] Following this expansion, it was determined that in order to improve financial reporting consistencies, ComServe’s business units should operate under a single technology platform, thus leading them to adopt Exact Software’s Macola ES that supports collaboration across the company’s value chain, all the while providing a view of relevant financial information.[6]
